These Terms govern your use of The Connector, operated by The Connector LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. By creating an account you agree to them.
You must be 18 or older and a currently enrolled student at a supported campus with a valid .edu email address from that campus. Accounts are personal; do not share yours or create one for someone else.
We operate a communications platform that lets verified students post information and contact one another. We are not a party to any transaction, agreement, or arrangement between users. We do not buy, sell, rent, ship, deliver, inspect, appraise, store, or transport anything. We do not employ, contract with, or supervise any user.
Every arrangement you make with another user is solely between you and that user.
The Connector does not process, hold, escrow, transmit, or guarantee any payment between users. Prices shown in Market and Rentals are posted by users, are informational only, and are not verified by us. All payment happens directly between users, outside the app.
We make no guarantee that any item exists, is as described, is functional, is owned by the person posting it, or will be delivered. We offer no refunds, no purchase protection, and no dispute resolution service for transactions between users.

Every post is reviewed before publication and may be denied at our sole discretion. Denial is our editorial choice about what appears on our platform, not a legal determination.
A rental arranged through the platform is an agreement between the item's owner and the renter. We are not a party to it, set no terms, hold no deposit, and take no position on condition, damage, loss, late return, or payment.
The Connector is not a transportation company, a transportation network company, a ride-hailing service, a broker, or a carrier. We do not provide transportation. We do not dispatch, match, assign, or route. We do not set, suggest, calculate, collect, or process fares.
Rides is an informational bulletin board. Students post that they are driving or that they need a ride, and contact each other directly using their own devices, outside the app. Every detail of any resulting arrangement is decided solely by the students involved.
We do not screen, vet, background-check, drug-test, or verify the driving record, license status, insurance coverage, or vehicle condition of any user. Verification of student status is not a safety certification and must not be relied on as one.
You are responsible for your own safety. Riding with or driving another person carries risk, including risk of injury or death. You assume that risk entirely.
Drivers: you are responsible for maintaining a valid license and legally required insurance and for complying with applicable law. Accepting money in a way that converts a shared ride into a commercial transportation service may violate your insurance policy and may require licenses you do not hold. That is your responsibility to evaluate.
Housing is not yet available. When it launches, we will not act as a real estate broker, landlord, property manager, or leasing agent, and we will make no representation about any property or its owner.
You are responsible for everything you post and represent that you have the right to post it. You grant The Connector a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce your content for the purpose of operating the platform.
You may not harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or stalk any user, or use the platform to collect other users' personal information outside a legitimate transaction. We may remove content and suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY USER, ITEM, OR ARRANGEMENT IS SAFE, LAWFUL, OR AS DESCRIBED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CONNECTOR LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR FROM ANY INTERACTION, TRANSACTION, OR ARRANGEMENT WITH ANOTHER USER — INCLUDING ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH ARISING FROM A RIDE ARRANGED THROUGH INFORMATION ON THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Connector LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your content, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, or any transaction or arrangement between you and another user.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
We may update these Terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
